Title: BreeDBase: a digital ecosystem for plant breeding
Speakers: Dr. Guillaume Bauchet and Dr. Lukas Mueller
Breedbase is a web based database service allowing storage and retrieving of both phenotypic and genotypic data. Breedbase stores trait ontologies, crosses, pedigrees, images, sequencing data. Decision support tools are provided for phenotyping, breeding management and trial analysis (ie: Genomic Selection). Together with the PhenoApps (http://phenoapps.org/) and the breeding API (https://brapi.org/), Breedbase offers plant breeding communities a digital ecosystem to support their experimental activities.P
